Highway Access
We are located just a few minutes from the Island Highway (a new, modern highway that extends the length of Vancouver Island).

From Victoria, Sidney or Swartz Bay . . .
If you arrive on Vancouver Island by ferry to Victoria from Port Angeles, or to the town of Sidney from Anacortes, or to Swartz Bay from Tsawwassen, just follow these directions:
Drive to Highway 1 and head North.
After driving through Ladysmith, turn right onto Cedar Road.
Turn right at the Country Market & Gas Station onto Yellow Point Road.
Turn right onto Tillicum Lane by the INN OF THE SEAsign, just after Yellow Point Lodge.
Turn immediately right into the property.
Driving time: Approximately 90 minutes.

From Nanaimo (Departure Bay) . . .
If you arrive via BC Ferries from the lower mainland to Nanaimo, Departure Bay ferry terminal, follow these directions:
Drive South on Highway 1 towards Victoria.
After passing Nanaimo Airport, turn left onto Cedar Road.
Turn right at the Country Market & Gas Station onto Yellow Point Road.
Turn right onto Tillicum Lane by the INN OF THE SEAsign, just after Yellow Point Lodge.
Turn immediately right into the property.
Driving time: Approximately 30 minutes.

From Nanaimo (Duke Point) . . .
If you arrive via BC Ferries from the lower mainland to Nanaimo, Duke Point ferry terminal, follow these directions:
Follow the signs for Victoria (left lane) and turn South onto Highway 1.
After passing Nanaimo Airport, turn left onto Cedar Road.
Turn right at the Country Market & Gas Station onto Yellow Point Road.
Turn right onto Tillicum Lane by the INN OF THE SEAsign, just after Yellow Point Lodge.
Turn immediately right into the property.
Driving time: Approximately 30 minutes.

By Air (Vancouver International Airport) . . .
Board the Nanaimo flight and lease a vehicle upon your arrival.

Flight time: 10 minutes. Driving time: 30 minutes.

From Nanaimo Airport When leaving the airport…, turn left at the lights then turn left again at the 2nd set of lights onto Cedar Road.
Turn right at the Country Market & Gas Station onto Yellow Point Road. Turn right onto Tillicum Lane by the INN OF THE SEA sign, just after Yellow Point Lodge. Turn immediately right into the property.
